Our New Rubicon

I am happy to note that we are the proud owners of a sorta new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We have been looking at this Jeep for a week or so while it sat on the lot of our local Fallon Auto Mall. I have been wanting a vehicle like this since Jeep came out with the 4-door. Jake finally caved in and went in to ask how much it was. We know a nice guy (Bruno) who works at the auto mall and knew he could hook us up with a good deal. Bruno told us to take the Jeep for the weekend (just so we could fall in love with it even more). Of course, the tactic worked and both Jake and I wanted it before the sun set on Sunday.
It is basicly a new Jeep with only 10,000 miles on it. Jake and I love that it is jacked up 3 extra inches, has the dark tinted windows, and the upgraded tires and rims. The yellow is a bit flashy and crazy, but I guess it goes good with me. I hope to do a little "diggin" now. The kids love it and think it is fun too. Hamilton has to do quite the fancy moves just to get in it.

Fantastico! Your new addition to the family has quite the yellow personality, just like Kara! I think you will really enjoy off roading this year!

Congratulations! You guys deserve it.

Love ya,
Mom

Can we borrow that sometime? :) Matt wants to take it on the "hiking" trip this summer. Maybe it could be more like an "offroading" trip. So who's car is it replacing?

Well, you know in my kind of business, lots of tickets are given for bright yellow cars like this one! A word of advice. . .drive 20 mph slower than the speed limit. What a cool car.

Freak I'm jealous!! :) I've been eye-balling one of those too ever since they came out with the 4-door versions. Maybe someday....I guess for now my smoking hot 4-door Ford Taurus with 113K+ miles will have to do!

NO WAY! Steve is WAY jealous! That is exciting! Hope you enjoy it. You could test drive it to Texas...just to make sure it works well. There's lots of diggin' you could do on the way!

If you get lost the search and rescue will be able to spot you guys from a 100 miles away. Looks like fun.

Love the new jeep.

Kara, I'm so glad you left a comment on my family blog so I could click on your username and link to your blog! What a cute family you have (and of course I remember you, silly!).
