Public Office

It is official.

Jacob has decided to run for the school board here in Fallon. He actually filed a declaration of candidacy this morning. There are four seats open so hopefully he can get voted into one of them. His decision to run for this position has come after lots and lots of thought and prayer. After his blog post about getting "off the sidelines" Jacob decided he needed to follow through and get involved. Besides, aren't we all always saying we need good people in government?

Check out his website HERE or by clicking on the link to the right. You can read a little bit about him there.

Oh yeah, and pass it on!!

If I could vote, Jake would certainly get my vote, but maybe that's because he's my son-in-law. No...really, I think it's terrific he is getting involved. What a way to make a difference! (And, way to go to make use of Dallin's terrific talents for the link.)

AWESOME! We are excited! Can I post that link on my blog, too? I don't know if I get any visitors that you don't, but maybe a few more votes!

Good for you Jacob! We are proud of you. We would sure vote for the best man...Jacob. We love you. Glad to see you getting involved. Good for you, taking your own advise. I have been doing that myself lately, feels good. We love you and miss you all so very much.
