Rules are Rules

Jake and I were cleaning out the garage yesterday and we found this on the door that used to go to the boy's room. Once, when we were having other children over, the kids wrote the rules to help maintain some sense of order. My personal favorite is number 9. I'm not sure why number 10 is crossed out but in case you can't read it it says; "You will need to have a ticket to get in over the age of five."
I am glad we found this so we could preserve a bit of Sommer family history.

I like number 9 too. That number 10 is so funny. I wonder why you would need a ticket if your under 5years old.

That goes to show you. . .what you are teaching them is sinking in! Looks like they are practicing what you preach. I'd bribe one of them to let me in without a ticket even though I'm waaaay over 5. It'd be worth any price to see what was going on behind that door!

I don't need to be laughed at becuase it wasn't on my door but I did help wright it so I guess people can laugh at me too.

Did the rules work? How many were followed? I can't figure out why you need a ticket. Maybe that is when the boys were under 5. I am so far over 5 that I would have to get a book of tickets.
