The Reno Aces

Yesterday we headed up to Reno to a baseball game. Jake wanted to have a little "work retreat" and so, bought tickets for our family and his secretary's family. Turns out they couldn't come in the end despite checking and double checking the calendar. So we ended up with 5 extra tickets which we pawned off onto the Lords family. We had a wonderful time cheering on our new local team. The game was great and had lots of action. There were several triple plays, lots of great hits, and a home run. With a final score of 16 to 5. We ate peanuts, cotton candy, sunflower seeds, and hot dogs. I was worried a bit about the weather but it held out for us. It was a little cool but nothing a sweatshirt couldn't handle.

Sounds like you had fun. That must have been a very 'healthy' diet.

Good thing you were able to convince your friends to go with you. I would have hated to see Jake out there in front of the stadium trying to scalp those tickets!
