We started out the evening with a few videos from lds.org. Including one of the brand-new Bible story videos. Jake also showed a video I had never before seen called, The Coat. Check it out here. If that video doesn 't share the Christmas Spirit, I don't know what would. It's adorable and so very sweet.
The last few years, it seems, has brought on a fierce competition. I tried to tell them all it was NOT a competition, but no one listens to me.
good things:

Fabulous! I love the stadium idea. Whose was it? We always do gingerbread houses too...next week after Andrew get's back and Alicia's wedding is over is when it's penciled in for. I look forward to it and dread it at the same time.
I am so glad we decided to keep the tradition alive. I had a blast, as always. Doesn't feel like Christmas without the gingerbread party. Plus, we all get to enjoy your Christmas decoration skills!
Our family is glad you didn't cancel,either! We have weeks into planning ours! Already thinking of next year. You have created monsters! :-)
